Question 1: Why Dubai?

For almost 15 years, AngelouEconomics has helped communities in the United States become nationally and globally competitive.  Today, AngelouEconomics has taken that practice one step further by becoming a global company with our first international office in Dubai, UAE.

Our Dubai office has three main foci:

First, AE is helping public sector clients guide their economies through the fast-paced yet transitive growth that is occurring here.  Within 30 minutes drive of AngelouEconomics Dubai, one can reach the world’s tallest structure, the world’s most expensive hotel, and the largest manmade islands ever created.  Yet as with any economic boom, the one seen in the Middle East today is focused within certain industries such as real estate and energy.  In order to create sustainable growth, AngelouEconomics has taken its knowledge of economic diversification and in-depth understanding of regional needs to develop industry attraction programs.  These programs are being used by investment promotion agencies or other state-empowered organizations to access alternate sources of growth for the region.   

Second, AngelouEconomics is helping clientele in the United States position themselves to enter and benefit from the growth in the Middle East.  By helping clients establish offices, assisting with funding or product distribution, or supplying socio-economic research and analysis, AngelouEconomics has created a gateway for companies and organizations in the United States to access the Middle East.

Third, AngelouEconomics Dubai is enhancing our global site selection services.  AE’s presence and network in the region is growing daily, and the Dubai office has given AE tremendous access to potential sites and incentives that are being offered throughout Europe, the Middle East/North Africa, and South and Central Asia.
