Thank you for taking the time to visit theBCplan.com, the project Web site for the Broome County Plan for Sustainable Economic Development. 

In August 2002, we provided Broome County with a complete economic development strategy that will serve as a roadmap for future development.  The final reports included an organizational plan, land use and redevelopment strategy, and a marketing plan that will guide the region over the next five years. 

At the conclusion of the Plan, the community unanimously agreed to the brand identity recommended by our team, Home to Innovation, and is in the process of changing the names of its public organizations to reflect the new brand.  Broome County has begun to organize a single economic development agency dedicated to marketing the region to the target industries identified in our analysis. 

We enjoyed working with the residents and businesses of Greater Binghamton, and feel confident that the Plan will be implemented and the region will see the results for years to come.
