In November, the City of Taylor hired AngelouEconomics to develop an Economic Development and Marketing Plan and also hired Wilbur Smith Associates to develop the Comprehensive Plan. Both companies will be working with Advisory Committees who are comprised of Taylor citizens.

The Economic Development and Marketing Plan is a five-year roadmap with recommendations to promote and generate economic growth in Taylor. The Taylor Comprehensive Plan is a long range plan intended to guide development of the City for the next 20 years.
