Within this proprietary study, AngelouEconomics (AE) compared the organizational size, structure, and results of the ten leading state economic development organizations selected through AE in consultation with the client organization. AE benchmarked performance metrics including, but not limited to, the number of companies located in the designated region, the number of jobs created, their average wages, the amount of projected capital investment, and targeted industry data.
AE additionally reviewed organizational structure and scope as well as available incentives in order to help provide a complete competitive assessment to the client. Summary performance results are shared with organizations who participated in interviews with the additional research proprietary to the client
organization. Ten state organizations were used in the analysis.
